Stuck

Remember this? Oh, how I was fooled by the cover. I started reading and kind of tortured myself through the first two novellas, but now I really feel like I have to lay the book aside and read something else. I am not too much into paranormals, but I thought I'd give it another try. Plus, there are some paranormal books, I really dig. Anybody read this one yet? Thoughts?

This is not meant to be the actual discussion about the book. I will post a review according to the schdule, I was just wondering about your opinion.

Reminder

Don't forget to enter the giveaway, cause today is the last day to do so. Winner will be announced tomorrow, so make sure to be in. This way.

Gimme A Break!

You know, how obsessed I am with Christmas, right? And when starting the challenge,  I thought it would be a great idea. But then I read eight Christmas novels this last week and all this snow and lights and sleigh bells really make me gag. I have to live miracle-free for at least 48 hours or I might throw up for real when I stumble across one more single father finding a new mom for x-mas. Really? Is that all you can come up with? I have read great authors and three out of eight come up with this single father/mother thing. Why's that? And since when do vampires celebrate Christmas?? Ah, BTW, what's it with all those vampires? Do they drink human blood, yes or no? Can they run really fast and can listen to snow fall? Do they sleep during daytime? Do they sparkle in sunshine? Do they need magic jewelery to protect them from sunbeams?

You know what? Somebody ever came up with a single father/mother vampire finding a new werewolf mom for the blood sucker kids during Christmas? That would be a story I'd love to read. They might have bloody punch and listen to sleigh bells some hundred miles way. Yep, you find that book, you make me happy.

Did you ever feel like you got too much of reading? Let me know.

P.S. This is not meant to be taken too seriously. I'll be back to my former self once I got all the merry carols out of my head. *g*

Cover Art

This book is so on my TBR pile! Check out the cover! Jeez, that's some male hotness, huh? And that candy cane ... I am speechless. I haven't read one of the authors yet, but this will soon change. Have you read them? Lora Leigh maybe? I heard a lot about her, but never had the chance to read her books. Opinions?

P.S. Please remember to add recommendations and the giveaway is this way. Happy Reading!

You Are Amazing!

Wow, who would've thought that this blog might be so popular just a week after I started it. Thank you, ladies! I really, really appreciate it. I do have a permanent cyber home though, which is my blog called MisbehavinAngel. I would love to welcome you there as well. It is an English/German blog where I usually blog about my reading, sewing, crafts and kitchen stuff. You might find some half-naked Hugh Jackman there as well from time to time. *g* MisbehavinAngel also has giveaways on a regular basis, but at this moment, you can only play here. In case you haven't so far, please feel free to enter the contest and you may win a book cover and one of my favorite romances.

I will do some book covers to sell them after the contest is finished. I do have an online shop for selfmade crafts, but it is German, so I will make some covers to sell directly to you via this blog. I'll still have to figure out, how I am going to do that, but I'll let ya know. Again, thanks for stopping by and being so supportive. Love and hugs, Sanna

Impatient

Okay, so there was this TBR pile next to my bed. DH was busy with doing whatever he did at his computer and DS was visiting the grandparents. Now, everybody have a guess...did I resist or not?! *g*

First Delivery

Honestly, do you love Amazon as much as I do? I spend so much money on Amazon, that I am wondering when the hell will they send me a lovely thank you bouquet?! Anyway, I received the first package of Christmas novels yesterday and although I had planned to start reading on November, 1st, I really cannot wait that long with a nice little TBR pile next to my bed.

I also updated "The Books" page, so you can find my planned schedule for what to read when. That way, you can easily jump into the discussion once the review is online. No guarantee, that I will stick to that schedule, but I will totally try to.

Someone asked if the challenge is limited to romance only and for me, that's a clear yes. I will do some crafts and recipes from other Christmas books as well, but I will focus on romance or erotica. I would really like to hear about your Christmas reading, though. Even if it's not romance. I plan to have a "What are you reading post?" every week, so you can tell us about your choice then. Alright? Oh, and make sure to check out the "Recommendations" page and leave a comment. Thanks.

I am really happy that this blog got kind of frequently visited so fast. I was wondering if I should do this, cause I thought nobody would be interested, but obviously I was wrong. Welcome, everybody! I am happy, that you found me and this little corner of the web and am really looking forward to all the books to be read.

Happy Reading!

A Wallflower Christmas Lisa Kleypas Book Trailer

I did some internet research concerning Christmas romance for the challenge and found this book trailer for Lisa Kleypas' A Wallflower Christmas. I like the trailer a lot and will add the book to my TBR pile. Who has read it? Was it any good?

Let's get started!

I am ready to go for it.  My aim is to read as many romances dealing with Christmas during the holiday season. I will start reading on November, 1st and from then on publish at least one review a week. Might be more. Plus, to make the season merrier, I will try some recipes and crafts from Christmas books and tell you all about my experiences.

Please feel free to recommend any kind of book that has something to do with Christmas to me. Leave a comment to do so. I appreciate it. And could you please spread the word? I'd love to have vivid book discussions over here for the next ten weeks or so and you are more than welcome to join. Happy Reading!
